Letter to clients

Dear Doctor,

We are writing to let you know the steps we are taking to keep our customers, staff and community safe following confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) at The Dental Solution, Melbourne.

The Dental Solution is following Department of Health and Human Servicesโ€™ (DHHS) advice to minimise disruption and operate as safely as possible. We have informed our staff and we are helping DHHS identify everyone at our business who may have been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19). We have undertaken a deep clean to disinfect all surfaces in accordance with the strict infection control guidelines put in place by DHHS.

Our Administration staff are currently working remotely to arrange any pickups and keep you informed of any cases that you have scheduled for delivery and those that are currently in progress. We will be in contact with you soon, however if you need to contact us, please do so by the usual channels.

If you have a digital scanner, please continue to send your cases through as we can begin the design process and be ready to fulfill the required deadline. We can still receive physical cases on site with staff that are not affected and liaise with you regarding delivery times. We expect to be back on site within the next 14-day period and hopefully sooner rather than later. However, that will be at the direction of the DHHS.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your understanding in these difficult times. The Health & Wellbeing of our staff and their families, our clients and suppliers are our priority.

We urge you to continue to follow DHHS guidelines to keep yourself, your friends and family safe and help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

  • Get tested even if you have mild symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). After getting tested, you need to stay home until you have your test result. Symptoms include:
    • Loss or changes in sense of smell or taste
    • Fever
    • Chills or sweats
    • Cough
    • Sore throat
    • Shortness of breath
    • Runny nose
  • Practise good hygiene โ€“ wash your hands regularly and cough and sneeze into a tissue or your elbow.
  • Keep your distance โ€“ stay 1.5 metres away from anyone you donโ€™t live with.
  • Wear a face mask whenever you leave home.
